Our Idea

Purpose
We want kids to make personal hygiene a priority. We want hand washing and other forms of hygiene to become muscle memory and this will decrease disease caused by bacteria.

Impact
We hope that by
incentivizing hand washing and other forms of personal hygiene, more people will practice and this will prevent disease.

Target audience
Our app, SOAP ATTACK, is targeted towards children 5 years and older. We believe that children are most impressionable at this age and will be able to form a habit quickly.

OUR STORY
TECHNOLOGY
Using some of the most advanced technology, we are hoping to give kids access to software that will help them learn and improve their hygience and while having fun.
We are using reactnative, a program that helps us connects our phones with the work being done on the computer, with the scripting language, javascript. With Java, we were able to build a model app, with buttons and timed elements.
Growing up not only have we witnessed, we have also experienced how suscetible children are to diseases. We have also noticed that children are the most curious, open to learning new things. Based on these observations, we decided we would have the greatest influence on children, and have a long lasting impact.
